Special procedures for mutual funds and seg funds

For any client name transactions that you cannot perform electronically by FundServ (for example : RESP redemptions, Home Buyer’s Plan, T-2033 Transfers, Marriage Breakdown, some switch of Mature units or Free units, etc..), or for redemption back-up documents (transaction form, legible void cheque, and/or any specific instructions), you have to apply your “Signature Guarantee stamp” to the transaction form and/or instruction letter, sign it and fax all documents to the proper fund company, before 16h00 Eastern Time (Toronto Time).

If you don’t have a “Signature Guarantee stamp”, all documents needs to be submitted for processing to the Manual Desk by fax or e-mail before the manual processing cut off time (noon on regular time, 11:00 am Eastern Time during RRSP Season).

For any nominee transactions that you cannot perform electronically via FundServ, you have to fax the required documents to the PEAK manual transaction desk (PEAK Western Office in Weyburn or PEAK Head Office in Montreal) before the set cut-off time.
